1st thing 1st i have to say that the CIP camp was extremely fun !!! the theme was madagascar.. all the volunteers were meridians! 28 of us had a super great time! WOO! lots of familiar faces there, dennis, jiahao, wesley, nat, joanne etc etc etc!
1st day
had lunch with a few of the grp mates at white sands b4 heading off to the child center. waited for the rest of the people to arrive, before realising that there were only 7 guys.. we were outnumbered.. haha.. we got our roles, and i tio game master. played some simple icebreaker games and we got to know each other. made some new friends before we headed off to the camp.
HAHA ! Upon arriving there in the afternoon i realised that it was a chalet ! packed our stuff and tried out the games prepared for tmr. my station tio the game where u have to create ur own very mud bath, using a portable pool.. took super long to fill up, can fall asleep. we resorted to using buckets, pans and erm, teapots too lol.. after that in the evening got the night trial. also games, and i tio the 1 which u have to transport water bombs using different parts of ur body. fed the mosquitos that night wth. after that all of us walked to changi village to have supper! cool sia. sadly the famous nasi lamak stall not open. so we eat indian rojak. oiishi !! later took a slow walk back to camp and told retarded + cold jokes along the way. (well, i started it :D). close to 12 already, showered up and played cards till 2am cause so many of us cant get to sleep.
2nd day
Morning woke up at 5am. dennis woke me up accidentally, after that all of us cant get bak to sleep already. slacked till 7.30 had breakfast and we started to prepare the games!! the small kids arrived later at 10 plus, so many of them sia. all very noisy. group leaders so stressful, they have to handle them all the time. some very guai, the others like monsters. they played so many icebreaker games and went crazy~ so hard to handle them. waited for the afternoon games after that. the mud bath is full with mud and 3 bottles of johnson baby shampoo.. the pool was freaking dirty! the kids came, all the guys jumped into the pool and had fun. some girls did that too, some dun wan to get themselves dirty.. lol, no choice, we forced them to go in. after that washed them down with a hose. fun!
night trial was fun! the walk along the beach at night so beautiful and romantic.. me and my partner, cherlia, sway sway got the playground area no sea view. we fed the mosquitos that night also both of us dam sad lar. after the night trial all of them went back and it was bedtime. sleeping with the kids was hellish sia, they all fighting for space. muahahah, slept on the bed wif wesley and dennis. all the kids sleep on the floor. :)
3rd day
it was performance day. each group have to dance to the song they chose.. i helped the hippo group as the kids there super hard to handle. well, the kids themselves did the choreograph and they danced not bad sia. so did the rest of the groups. :)
after this was over every1 went home haha.. took a shuttle bus back to the center. it was raining. abt half of the volunteers went to mac after that to have a light meal.. hahaha, but most of the time spent in there was to play murderer. we played till we got high! cao ji fun~ home sweet home after that..
CIP is so fun, wanna go agn next year ! for now, back to work at sakae.. vj band concert tmr, yikes, think fully booked, cant get tickets.. well going for tj band concert this sun AND also COSFEST THIS SAT !! meeting people from shakugan no shana cosplay group for dinner!
